Our client’s existing home was dark and disconnected, with limited natural light and a layout that didn’t support how the family wanted to live.
Working alongside Your Home Designs, who led the interior design, we focused on improving flow between the original home and a new rear extension, while creating additional living space and introducing a second living area that could be closed off when needed.
Alongside the extension, we completed a full internal renovation, reworking the layout to open up key living areas and allow natural light to move more freely through the home. The project introduced a new open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, supported by a walk-in pantry, updated laundry and additional storage throughout. A relocated entryway and rear deck further improved how the home connects internally and to the outdoors.
We carefully planned how the existing home and new addition would come together, ensuring the transition feels seamless both in layout and overall feel.
The result is a home that feels significantly more open, connected and easy to live in. Natural light now flows through the main living areas, transforming what was once a dark interior into a bright and inviting space, while the addition of a second living area provides flexibility for a growing family.
